Double Degree Programs
The Double Degree Programs provide the mindset and opportunity students need to turn any idea into reality with the curriculum derived from partnership with IHE Institute for Water Education (UNESCO-IHE) in the Netherlands. The program offer students with accelerated double degree in a condensed duration at lesser cost with an international exposure to diversified areas of excellence.

Graduates in this specialization will gain exposure to a mix of integrated courses comprising the fields of energy, environment, technology, sustainable development, and management.
Double Degree Programs | For Whom?
This specialization is intended for professionals from urban water and wastewater authorities, urban development ministries, sustainable development ministries, water and environment ministries, private companies, academia, NGOs, city and municipal authorities dealing with or interested in water and sanitation services and managing urban water cycle, environmental policy planning and management, and sustainable development.
Candidates with degree preferably in Civil, Environmental or Water Resources Engineering or related fields are eligible to apply.

✔ Urban Water Engineering and Management (UWEM)
Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands, have been jointly offering a Joint Degree Master’s program on Urban Water Engineering and Management (UWEM) since 2009.
The UWEM program is one of the few programs worldwide that addresses the need for master level professionals capable of delivering both water and wastewater services within the context of the urban water cycle, covering both technical and management aspects. As such, it is attractive to professionals from both the government sectors and the water industry, particularly from developing and transitional countries.
✔ Environmental Technology For Sustainable Development (ETSud)
Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands, are offering a Joint Degree Master’s program in Environmental Technology for Sustainable Development since August 2012.
The program is designed for addressing local and global challenges and shortages facing the persistent environmental problems.
Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded two Master degree in Urban Water Engineering and Management or Environmental Technology For Sustainable Development. These degrees will be awarded by both AIT and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands.
